Posting Your Project: A Step-by-Step Guide

To attract the top 1% of WordPress talent, your project post needs to be clear, structured, and goal-oriented. This guide walks you through our posting flow to ensure you get high-quality proposals.

1. Project Identity (Steps 1-3)

Name Your Project

Give your project a short, descriptive title. A good title acts as a keyword for the right experts.

  • Avoid: “WordPress Help” or “Fix Website.”
  • Better: “Speed Optimization for WooCommerce Store” or “Custom LMS Theme Design.”

Choose Your Category

Select the category that best fits your needs. This determines which specialists see your post:

  • Website Creation: For building a site from scratch.
  • Website Fixes & Support: For bugs, errors, or maintenance.
  • Ecommerce Store: For WooCommerce or shopping-related builds.
  • Learning Platform / LMS: For LearnDash, LifterLMS, or member sites.
  • Landing Page: For high-converting single pages.
  • Website Design: For UI/UX and visual layout tasks.
  • Marketing & SEO: For visibility and performance growth.
  • Content & Video Editing: For asset creation and management.
  • Custom Development: For bespoke plugin or theme logic.

Preferred Tools & Platforms (Optional)

If you already use specific tools (like Elementor, ACF, or RankMath), add them here.

  • Pro Tip: If you aren’t sure which tool is best, leave this blank. Our professionals will suggest the best stack for your goals.

2. Project Details (Steps 4-5)

Project Summary (Optional)

In 1–2 sentences, explain the “Big Picture.”

  • Example: “I want to turn my local bakery into an online delivery business.”

Scope of Work

This is the most important section. Describe exactly what needs to be built or fixed. Use the formatting toolbar to make it readable:

  • Use Headings: Break the project into phases.
  • Use Bullet Points: List specific features (e.g., “Must have a contact form,” “Integrated Stripe payments”).
  • Bold Key Terms: Highlight critical requirements or deadlines.

3. Budget & Timeline (Steps 6-7)

Estimated Budget

Select a range that reflects the value of your project. WpCircle offers tiers to help you find the right level of expertise:

  • Micro Tasks: Under $100 (Quick fixes or tweaks).
  • Small Projects: $100 – $500.
  • Mid-to-Large Projects: $1,000 – $10,000.
  • Enterprise Solutions: $50,000 – $100,000.
  • Custom: If your project doesn’t fit these tiers, select “Custom” to discuss pricing with the pro.

Completion Timeline

Let professionals know how urgent the work is:

  • ⚡ ASAP: For critical fixes or tight deadlines.
  • 📅 Within 1-2 Weeks: For standard builds.
  • 📆 Within 1 Month: For larger, phased projects.
  • 🕐 Flexible / Not Sure: If the quality of work is more important than the speed.

4. Visuals & Review (Steps 8-9)

Share Your Ideas (Optional)

“A picture is worth a thousand lines of code.” Upload any assets that help explain your vision:

  • Inspiration images or sketches.
  • Screenshots of errors or current layouts.
  • Wireframes or Figma files.
  • Reference website links.
