Once you post a project, WordPress experts from the WpCircle community will submit “Proposals.” You can view these in real-time by navigating to the Proposals tab in your sidebar.
Navigating the Proposals Page
Each proposal card gives you a snapshot of the developer’s expertise and their specific bid for your project:
- Expert Identity: View the developer’s name, location, and professional title.
- The “Boosted” Badge: Some experts may boost their proposals to the top. This indicates a high level of interest in your specific project.
- Pricing & Timeline: See the developer’s hourly rate alongside their specific Fixed Project Budget and Estimated Time for your task.
- The Cover Letter: Read the developer’s “Pitch” to understand how they plan to solve your issue. Click “Read Full Pitch” to see their entire strategy.
Taking Action on Proposals
On the left side of every proposal card, you have three primary tools:
- Shortlist (Star Icon): Click the Star to save a developer to your favorites. This helps you narrow down your top choices.
- Decline (Red X Icon): If a proposal doesn’t meet your needs, use the X to remove it from your view. This keeps your dashboard organized.
- Open Chat: The most important step. Use this link to start a direct conversation with the expert (see Step 3 below).
